Is there a minimum commitment?
Yes. We require a 3-month minimum for all monthly retainer plans. This gives us time to onboard your VA, establish a workflow rhythm, and drive consistent results.
What happens if I don’t use all my hours in a given month?
Unused tasks and hours do not roll over, so we recommend prioritizing high-impact tasks each week. We’ll help you track usage and stay ahead of your plan.
How much admin support is included in each plan?
Each plan includes a mix of core marketing tasks (like blog posting, email sends, and social media uploads) and light administrative support. Light admin typically includes inbox clean-up, CRM updates, simple research, formatting, or project board maintenance.
We don’t cap these tasks individually, but they’re included within your total monthly hours:
Essentials: Up to 10 hours/month
Growth: Up to 20 hours/month
Executive: Up to 40 hours/month

Can I change my plan after I start?
You can upgrade your plan at any time. Downgrades can take effect after the 3-month minimum period is complete.
Who will my VA be?
Essentials Plan VAs are shared resources managed by our Hey CMO internal team. Growth Plan users get a single point of contact. Executive Plan users receive a fully dedicated Virtual Assistant. All are vetted, experienced, and trained on core marketing tools.
Will my VA create content from scratch?
Yes! Your VA can create original, SEO-optimized blog posts tailored to your brand. Just share the topic, target keywords, and audience and we’ll take it from there.
Each post is 500–1000 words, written to support your organic growth goals. We also include meta descriptions and formatting tips to make publishing easy.
Do I need to train my VA?
Hey CMO’s team is already trained to support common marketing tasks across our Essentials and Growth Plans. If you’re on the Executive Plan, your dedicated VA may need light onboarding to align with your unique style and preferences. Once you complete your intake form, we’ll prep your VA on your tools and platforms, but you’ll guide them on brand tone and expectations during the first week.
What if my VA isn’t the right fit?
We want this to work for you. If your VA isn’t the right fit, just let us know. We’ll pause your engagement, reassess your needs and match you with a new assistant based on your preferences and feedback at no extra charge.
